Roles & Responsibilities... 
- Sourcing candidates / filling jobs.
- Checking workers are on site.
- Obtaining references from workers.
- Updating worker availability list.
- Adding candidates to the system.

Accounts Assistant / Credit Control and Payroll Executive

Kedro Search has a fantastic opportunity for an Accounts Assistant / Credit Control and Payroll Executive to join our growing recruitment business. We work in a happy, vibrant, and fun office space where everyone offers each other support and advice.

We specialise in the construction sector and have a turnover in excess of £3M with 70+ tradesmen subcontracted out to our ever-growing client base. 

This is an exciting opportunity for someone to run the Accounts Department for a busy and ambitious recruitment agency. 

Due to our continued success, this opportunity will likely lead to a management position as we intend to build an accounts team over the coming years to support our growth. You will not be thrown in the deep end as we offer full in-house training and you will have extensive support to enable you the time to learn and grow into the role.

This can either be for...

(a) someone with no experience in Credit Control / Payroll nut interested in Accounts (we offer full financial support for those interested in the AAT course L2 & L3) 

(b) a trained/experienced person with relevant Accounts/Credit Control/Payroll qualifications.

Some of the roles and responsibilities of the Accounts Assistant are...

• Handle timesheet process, including sending and chasing timesheets weekly
• Raise and Send Client Invoices weekly and Client Statements monthly
• Update Gross Profit (GP) breakdown weekly
• Ensuring payroll company has all workers set up correctly for payments and liaising if any payment issues arise
• Updating spreadsheet detailing all workers on site and details (ie. pay and charges rate, site contact, etc)
• Credit control and liaising with bank managers
• Provide credit control report monthly
• Putting BDP in place with new clients and ensuring TOB is in place. If required, also requesting PO numbers in line with client processes
• Update running costs monthly, Reconciling the bank account, and chasing any missing receipts/invoices
• Ensuring online systems are up to date with all vacancies and workers on-site weekly
• General admin tasks (ie. induction forms, formatting CV, etc.)

The ideal Accounts Assistant 

• 1-2 yrs working in an Accounts environment
• Relevant qualifications such as "AAT L2 or/and L3" (not essential as we offer full funding for this).
• Experience using Sage Line 50. 

Salary and benefits for the Credit Control and Payroll Executive

• £20,000 to £27,500 salary depending on experience and qualifications
• 24 days holiday plus bank holidays and never work a birthday again
• Invoice accuracy bonus incentives
