SENIOR ELECTRICAL PROJECT MANAGER – LONDON

An established and growing M&E contractor is looking to appoint an experienced Senior Electrical Project Manager to deliver electrical projects across London.

The business has been operating for almost 20 years and delivers mechanical, electrical, Design & Build, maintenance and decarbonisation solutions across a diverse range of sectors.

With a strong pipeline of London-based work, they are looking for an experienced Electrical Project Manager capable of taking full responsibility for projects typically valued between £1m and £3m.

THE ROLE

You will take ownership of electrical projects from pre-construction and mobilisation through to completion and handover, with responsibility for programme, commercial performance, quality and client relationships.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Managing electrical projects valued between £1m–£3m

• Taking projects from initial handover through to practical completion

• Managing site teams, supervisors and subcontractors

• Procurement of labour, materials and specialist subcontract packages

• Monitoring programmes, progress and project costs

• Working closely with the commercial and design teams

• Attending client and progress meetings

• Managing variations and identifying additional works

• Ensuring projects are delivered safely, on programme and within budget

• Maintaining strong relationships with Main Contractors, Consultants and end clients

• Managing testing, commissioning and final handover

THE PERSON

We are looking for an experienced Electrical Project Manager or Senior Electrical Project Manager with a proven background delivering commercial electrical projects in London.

Ideally, you will have:

• Strong electrical building services experience

• Experience managing projects in the £1m–£3m range

• A background working for an established M&E contractor

• Strong commercial and contractual awareness

• Excellent client-facing skills

• Experience managing projects from start to finish

• The ability to manage multiple stakeholders and drive site teams

• A strong understanding of electrical installation, testing and commissioning
